Some thoughts about lunchboxes..pic added

<center>I received the lunch boxes for Molly,Kit and Josefina's little lunch bag set.
I've never really thought that Molly would have a metal lunch box.
I was a young girl during WWII and nobody I knew had a metal lunch box.
We gave everything metal that wasn't tied down to the s**** metal drives.
(Except my cousin's toy truck which he wouldn't part with and are probably worth a fortune now! LOL!)
But I digress...
However..it's cute and I'm trying to keep up with her collection when stuff comes on sale. Is the little sami just a touch off color? I had her little lunch bags and I think the samis are diff colors.Strange..

Kits lunch box is darling.My DGG just got her Kit doll and she'll love it I know.

My Josefina is happy with her little bag..the food is nice and the colors look fine.
Josefina was found hanging at a thrift store in just her panties and camisia so I think she's just glad to get anything and deserves to be spoiled.

I don't think Molly minds.</center>

A fair bit of Molly stuff leans towards the 50s. (christmas dress for example)

A lot of people didn't want to pay for the bag version of her lunch so they changed it. It is alot more durable for play even if it's not the most accurate thing.

Perhaps Molly had her lunchbox before the war started.
Maybe it would be nice of her to donate it to a s**** metal drive [img]smile.gif[/img] (a pretend one of course)

That certainly adds a new aspect of play...


Glad you like the other lunchboxes. All the accessories are so so cute. I collect accessories so the only thing i have ever gotten is Felicity's Needlework frame, when I was a young girl. I had all the pieces until last year. The tiny thimble got lost. I just remember thinking how SMALL it was for the price. It will probably be awhile before I am an accessories collector. Gotta get all the dresses first [img]smile.gif[/img]
